The Central Bistro is open for lunch, afternoon tea and dinner every day with a special menu for Sunday Lunch. We emphasis quality, freshness and simplicity within our menu and this is why people have been visiting for years.

The Bistro offers an intimate, relaxed contemporary atmosphere as well a seasonal menu to include small plates, seasonal specials and the old favourite classics and grills.

The menu is seasonally and changes approx. 3-4 per year at which time we hold a Tasting Evening to showcase the best of locally sourced Cumbrian food.

A relaxed setting for up-to 45 people, the Central Bistro can also be booked privately for parties and weddings.

Opening Times

Bistro lunch – 12.00 to 14.00
Bistro Evening – 17.00 to 21.00
Afternoon Tea – 14.00 to 17.00 but will serve outside of these times dependant on availability.
