Housekeeper - Part Time and Full Time

We are currently looking for a Housekeeper to join the team. As a four star hotel we pride ourselves on standards and you will play a key part in maintaining these. You will need to be self-motivated, and whilst adhering to high standards and process, you should be able to perform a variety of manual cleaning tasks, covering all areas throughout the hotel and its facilities. You will also be required to assist with the laundry.
The hours of work are on a rota basis and include weekends. We operate 2 shifts per day 09.00-16.00 and 13.00-19.00.

Start date: ASAP.
Hours: Approx 16 - 35 hours per week
Job Types: Part - time, Permanent.
Salary: Upto £9.50 per hour

Housekeeper - Full and Part Time


Leisure Assistant / Receptionist – Part time - 16-20 hours (extra for holiday cover)

The role will oversee and assist in the daily running of the leisure facilities as well as support the hotel main reception. The ideal candidate will have customer service experience in a face to face environment, have a good eye for detail and be a team player.

Responsibilities include:
- Communicating and supporting with our valued leisure members and guests
- Advocate and encourage use of our facilities
- Ensuring the gyms, changing areas and poolside are kept clean and tidy as well as ensuring all equipment is safe to use
- Performing any associated administration tasks including taking payments
- Reporting any issues regarding equipment and/or customer satisfaction

Start date: ASAP
Hours: 16-20 hours per week (extra for holiday cover)

Salary: £8.91 - £10.00 per hour

Leisure Assistant / Receptionist


Receptionist – Part time or Full Time

The 4 Star Washington Central Hotel is looking for a receptionist to support our existing team on our busy reception desk. Ideally you will have experience in customer service and administration but full training will be provided for the right candidate. You will be responsible for checking guests in and out and offering warm, friendly and professional service. You must be IT literate and have worked in a fast paced customer facing role.

Start date: ASAP.
Hours: Approx 32-40 hours per week
Job Types: Full time, Part time, Permanent.
Salary: £18,000 - £20,000 per hour

Receptionist - Full and Part Time


Food and Beverage Manager – Full time

The ideal candidate will have a history of progression and minimum 2 years in a supervisory role in a Hotel/Food and Beverage operation. Have a hands on approach, with the ability to work under pressure and on their own initiative. The role involves working in a busy town centre Hotel, overseeing the Central Bistro and Bar and Coffee House. You will also be involved in the promotion, planning and delivery of events and functions.

You will need to be flexible and work weekends and evenings, however the role offers 3 nights off per week and 2 full consecutive days off. We would also support any professional development and qualifications within Hospitality Management.

Main Duties
- Delivering high quality hospitality and customer experience consistently
- Planning menus with the General Manager and Head Chef
- Ensuring high standards of hygiene, health and safety
- Recruit, co-ordinate, supervise and train of all food and beverage staff including rotas
- Promoting and marketing the food and beverage options
- Assist the control of costs and stock to ensure hotels profitability
- Develop and maintain relationships with potential and existing customers and suppliers

Hours: Approx 45 hours per week

Salary: £24,000.00 – £30,000.00 per year

Food and Beverage Manager


Head Housekeeper – Full time

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Head of Housekeeping to lead the day to day running of the Housekeeping team. In this hands on role you will recruit, train, support and manage a team of approx. 6-8 who are responsible for 70+ rooms and public areas of the hotel.

You will have high standards and be flexible and be able to work weekends, as well as previous experience of managing and motivating staff. This is a hands on role where 50% of your time will be spent cleaning and 50% supervising and managing.

The role is 09.00-17.00 and will involve some weekends but not all.

Head of Housekeeping duties include:
- Recruit, train and motivate the team
- Organise the rotas and holidays
- Conduct room checks to ensure high standards whilst working at pace
- Oversee the in house laundry operation
- Identify and report any maintenance issues
- Deal with suppliers of linen, cleaning materials and guest supplies and keep control of stock
- Ensure high standards of hygiene, health and safety (COSHH)

Start date: ASAP.
Hours: Approx 40 hours per week

Salary: £21,000.00 – £24,000.00 per year
