I have been staying here since beginning of November with work and been very happy with my stay. Receptionists, especially Selena are very friendly and helpful.
Nothing seems to Much of a hassle when it comes to your needs.Food is to a good standard also. Would recommend to anybody who needs a place to stay in Workington!
So far so good very beautiful hotel in the middle of town walking distance to shops . Dinner was superb. Staff very friendly. Room delightful, clean warm and cosy.

Their staff are always helpful, I have been on busuness several times and when checking for a future visit the recetpionist (Selina) was extremely helpful as my room hadn't actually been booked.
The rooms are always clean and tidy. Dinner was always nice - the portions are very generous.
Came again after visiting in 2012 and was pleased to see the same faces - Andrew and Anne - rare in a hotel and I travel with work regularly.
They made me feel very welcome and the bar and bistro area have been modernised as well which is much better. The daily specials were really good with a vegetable spring roll and dahl and a light salad platter too.
With a convenient location in the centre of Workington and only 45 mins from Carlisle and the M6, we are the perfect base for your day delegates. Having the opportunity to serve scrummy Cumbrian fayre is a big bonus too.
