This place does proper bar meals! Scampi was lovely and my friend got lasagne which was gorgeous too! We had sticky toffee pudding with ice cream and it was amazing! Wine was beautiful too. The waiter was outstanding and looked after us so did the lady on the bar! I’ve been here numerous times and I will definitely be returning! Thanks again.
We were greeted by Vicky who explained the check in procedure re Covid guidelines. She was extremely helpful and welcoming. Restaurant is fabulous with great selection for everyone (1 person in our party is Gluten free) Keith and Andy were so lovely and helpful. Had a nice swim and jacuzzi which we booked in for... pool and changing rooms could do with updating and there are no spa treatments as this isn’t a spa in true sense of the word just a pool, jacuzzi and sauna, which obviously wasn’t open. Great choice for breakfast all served piping hot and to order which makes a change from so many chains of hotels who keep everything on ‘hot‘ plates. Cathy and Andrew need a special mention as they were so friendly and nothing too much trouble. Efficient check out with the lovely Tracey. Would definitely recommend. Great area to get out and see so much of the surrounding areas 👍
I was lucky to be an invited guest for a meal in the restaurant... what a lovely evening. Menu had plenty of choice, stylish environment, food was amazing and tasty (vanilla pannacotta was delicious) service exceptional from lovely staff. If you are looking for someplace to eat out... don’t pass by this hotel. Can’t recommend the restaurant enough, already planning our next family night out here. Thank you so much
Just to leave a big thank you to Keith and all his Staff for a great night. We booked the overnight package even though we do live local it did make it that little bit more special. Food on the night was great. I had the steak which was cooked just right for me. The room was warm and comfortable and a late breakfast with more bubbly on New Year's day was spot on. A special mention to Celine on reception who looked after us from booking to check in.
Will definitely consider again for New Year and stay.
