This year we are celebrating Mother’s Day with a Traditional 3  Course Meal or Afternoon Tea at the Central Bistro   

Live Entertainment (Sunday ONLY)

Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th March 2025  – Lunch served from 12.00 – 14.30 and Afternoon Tea 15.00 – 18.00

 

SUNDAY LUNCH – 3 course traditional menu – 12.00-14.30 –  – £38.50 Adult | £20.50 Child

 

SATURDAY AND SUNDAY – Afternoon Tea – 15.00-18.00 – £27.00 or £33.95 with Glass of Prosecco or Local Gin or Ale | Child £14.00

Lunch Menu

To start

  • ROASTED SWEET POTATO AND CARROT SOUP topped the toasted caraway seeds (V, VE)
  • TERRINE OF TWO WAYS PULLED CHICKEN AND VEGETABLE and smooth chicken liver pate, pickled beets, sourdough plum chutney
  • HOME CURED SCOTTIS SALMON flavoured with lakes gin and juniper, rocket , Parmesan and caper salad (GF)
  • GARLIC WILD MUSHROOMS ON CHARRED SOURDOUGH topped with mozzarella or vegan mozzarella (V, VE)
  • SLOW ROASTED PORK BELLY, pickled kohlrabi, apple sauce and cider sauce (GF)

Mains

  • SLOW BRAISED FEATHERBLAD OF BEEF, Yorkshire pudding and seasoned pan juices
  • LEG OF LAKELAND LAMD, Shallots and pea fricassee, rosemary reduction (GF)
  • ROASTED EDEN VALLEY TURKEY, sage and onion stuffing, pigs in blankets, cranberry sauce and gravy
  • BUTTERNUT SQUASH AND ROOT VEGETABLE TERRINE, vegetable gravy (V,VE)

Main courses served with roasted potatoes, creamy mash potatoes, carrots, honey roasted parsnips, savoy cabbage with bacon, cauliflower cheese
